5. Donations and Sponsorships

The website allows users to make donations through Zeffy, express interest in sponsorships, or contact the Foundation about other forms of support. Donations help fund supplies, preparation, distribution, documentation, and related charitable operations for Carolina Cares and The Poston Foundation's mission.

The Foundation may use donations, unless expressly restricted and accepted by the Foundation, in a manner consistent with its exempt purposes, charitable mission, operational needs, and applicable law. If a contribution is designated for a particular campaign, program, or purpose, the Foundation may apply it in a manner reasonably consistent with that designation, subject to practical program needs, legal requirements, and charitable stewardship. Sponsor recognition is an acknowledgment of charitable support, not advertising, an endorsement, or guaranteed promotional exposure. Recognition may depend on donor consent, timing, available channels, and event plans.

Any statements regarding tax deductibility are subject to applicable law and the donor's individual tax circumstances.

6. Zeffy and Other Third-Party Services

Online donations are processed through Zeffy using an embedded donation form and links to Zeffy's website. Zeffy, not this static website, processes payment-card information and provides the transaction flow and donation receipt. During checkout, Zeffy may invite donors to make an optional contribution to support Zeffy's platform. That optional amount is separate from your donation to The Poston Foundation.

The Foundation is not responsible for the independent terms, privacy practices, uptime, security, or technical performance of Zeffy or other third-party platforms. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and policies.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, formatting, organization, and original materials, are owned by or used with permission by The Poston Foundation and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view, download, or print website materials for personal, informational, and noncommercial use only, provided you do not remove attribution, alter the content in a misleading manner, or claim it as your own.
